You know the song, "rain, rain go away, come again another day." Well while you’re waiting around wishing for the clouds to clear to head outside, Simplay3 has put together a list of activities you can use to wear out your kids and encourage imaginative play. These indoor activities include:
1. Go on a bear hunt
You’ve heard the song over and over, help your kids act it out. Don't forget to get dressed up for the occasion, use the Dress Up & Design Fashion Closet to store all your pretend dress-up items. For more about how to set up your bear hunt check out Learning4Kids.
2. Hide and go seek
This a classic game for all ages.

The spells and potions could be endless. This Butter Beer recipe will have you imagining you are are Universal Studios. Have your apprentice by your side with the help of a Toddler Tower Adjustable Stool
4. Build a fort
Gather blankets, chairs, pillows, and more to create a hideout for you and your child to play the day away in.
5. The floor is lava
If you don’t mind standing on chairs and the couch, pretending the floor is hot lava creates an obstacle course right in your home. Join in on the adventure or sit back and see where their imagination takes them.
6. Get crafty
An activity that will entertain for hours is creating Friendly Monsters out of felt. The Play Around Table & Chair Set is easy to wipe clean after the fun is done, so you can move on to your next adventure in a jiffy!
