Tom Murdough and Simplay3 is Headed to the North American International Toy Fair

Simplay3 aims to bring more joy to life through simple play. We say less screen time and more green time! With guidance from Toy Industry Hall of Fame’s own Tom Murdough, the team is built on the importance of exceeding customer expectations and delivering high-quality, durable, and innovative products that are designed & manufactured in the United States. Tom’s “Do It Right” philosophy spearheaded the success of his previous endeavors, Little Tikes & Step2. Simplay3 now holds this motto along with decades of industry knowledge, trust, and innovation as the foundation for the company.
This September, the Simplay3 Company heads to the 188th Toy Fair in New York. Toy Fair is described as, “the largest and most comprehensive play-focused experience, marrying the industry’s entire ecosystem with key players to help with business development and sourcing the latest products from across all forms and stages of play.” Tom and his team have been an integral part of the Toy Fair experience for more than 50 years. This year The Simplay3 Company will set up in Booth 315, and feature best-selling and upcoming products coming soon to consumers.
The best-selling Young Explorers Indoor/Outdoor Modular Play System is a main feature of the booth. This play system has been well-loved by our consumers as well as daycares & preschools alike. With the ability to arrange the elements in 12 different combinations that can easily fit inside or out, the YEIO Modular Play System is a unique well-made find under $800.
Also featured in Booth 315 will be two Spring 2023 releases and four upcoming products that Toy Fair is getting as an exclusive sneak peek at. The Downhill Thrill Kids Coaster was first introduced to the line in May of this year. Mini thrill seekers will cruise up to 20 feet and then be able to help Mom put it away when they’re done. The Roll & Stroll Quiet Ride Push Car came to fruition this June in three different colorways. Made with moms in mind, the quiet ride wheels make sure mom & toddler can communicate easily.
One of the first Toy Fair sneak peeks is the Cooking Kids Dine-In Kitchen Set. This multipurpose kitchen comes with 32 accessories so little ones can cook up a meal and then set the attached table for a wonderful dinner for two. Next, coming to the lineup is the Convert-a-Coupe Scoot & Ride. Meshing two products in one makes this a mother’s dream. Push the little one on a walk with the handle in one position then switch it over to the other for them to scoot around with independence!
Coming up next is the Have a Ball Activity Center, Simplay3’s first product for those 12 - 36 months. This activity center features a perfectly sized slide and ball pit made with sensory exploration and beginning cruisers in mind. Finally, we have the Creative Kids Art Desk. This creative station is made with future Picassos in mind. It has a textured floor that keeps little feet busy while also keeping messes contained in an easy-to-clean space. Then put away the supplies in molded-in storage for them to stay until the little one’s next creative idea!
