Simple Halloween Costumes for Toddlers

With Halloween around the corner, costumes are on sale and easily accessible. Sometimes, though, the costumes on the rack aren't just what your little ones need to get in the Halloween Spirit. Whether you’re buying costumes on a budget or making a gametime call, we have some options that can be made up of pieces of clothes from your own home.
Ghost- This one is as spooky as it is simple! You can either go the old-fashioned route and cut holes into an old white sheet, or use a black fabric marker to draw a face on a white shirt.
Cat- This one can have some personal flair as well! While most will wear a black long sleeve shirt and matching black pants, you can get creative and make a matching outfit for any color cat you wish! Use some black eyeliner to draw a cat nose and whiskers, and you’ll be set!
Mummy- Toilet Paper Mummies aren’t the best for kids walking around trick or treating, but they’re perfect for any that are staying home while the big kids go out!
Surfer- Take a rash guard and some swim trunks out from summer clothing bins and get one more good use out of them! If you have the time, making a mini surfboard out of cardboard will tie the look together.
Cowboy/Cowgirl- Pull out a pair of jeans and a plaid button up shirt and you have the base for a couple great costumes! Either a lumberjack on its own, or add a cowboy hat to be the cutest in the west!
