Top Resources to Plan the Next Adventure
Posted by Simplay3 on 9 May 2017
Summer is a great time to get outside and explore your local area or go off on a new adventure. There are so many resources that will help you plan your next trip that it can be overwhelming. Here are Simplay3’s go to sources to discover new adventures close to home.
- The National Park Service has a wealth of information on historic locations and parks across the US, and a go to reference resource for recapping your summer vacation with historical facts - a clever way to impress the teacher (think extra credit)!
- Fairs and festivals are a great way to get to know a community and what makes it unique. Check out FairsandFestivals.net to find one that interests you.
- Contact your local or state Visitor’s Bureau to learn about upcoming events and new attractions in your area. We’ll be heading over to Ohio.org to start planning our next adventure.
- Look into summer programs your local library has planned. Often you’ll learn something new and exciting.
- Plan a camping trip and leverage your state parks to find the perfect spot. We might check out a neighboring state park like Pymatuning.
Whatever your adventure, make sure to plan ahead and have fun!
