Running from activity to activity can be rough on parents and children alike and with the start of fall it’s only going to get busier. Fall means the return of school activities, extracurriculars, football games, and so much more. For those of us that are toting little kids along for these activities, it’s important to be prepared to keep them happy and engaged. Here’s our top tips to keep children happy, busy and safe during events like football games, soccer practice or play dates for older siblings.
- Have the right snacks on hand! Whether it is cheese crackers, cut up fruit, pretzels or fruit snacks that’s your child’s favorite, be sure to have plenty to ward off the hangries.
- Pack a bag of your child’s favorite knick knacks. Having a “new” toy to fiddle with is exciting for little ones so switch up what they’re playing with regularly to avoid boredom.
- Have a stroller that engages them while keeping them secure. Our Game Day Push About Helmet is a great push toy that enables you to transport your child with ease while giving them a front row seat to all of the action. And with a safety belt, the child stays with you.
- Have a few cheers in your back pocket. For example:
Big G, little o
Go, Go, Go
